Latest additions to the 74mm family: a yellow Executive with an Emmentaler logo and a black Ambassador sans shield & cross. I am usually not interested in knives with company logos, but I think this yellow one is quite nice.
You cannot tell from the pictures, but it looks like the previous owner sanded away some sort of company name or inscription on the back of the Ambassador.
In the summer of 2013, Victorinox offered this Spartan Lite with a nice “Neon Cross and Shield Camo print”. It was part of the Festival Ready product range which was only available through the Victorinox X Editions e-boutique in the UK. It was designed in collaboration with Christopher Raeburn and came with a certificate of authenticity.
This knife came in a rather old fashioned looking box which was a bit of a surprise.
This is an Elinox Standard with black cellidor scales. I had never seen black scales with the vintage awl before. Does anyone recognize the logo?
A couple of Canadian Flag Classics. There’s no fun in just ordering those online; I actually bought them in Canada.
I am always looking for unusual SAK scales (materials, designs, colors). A couple of days I found a Spartan with light blue scales which I had never seen before. Turns out at least four shades of blue exist in 91mm, of which only one is actually found on regular knives (with item number codes ending in .2).
Edit (20170501): I think the Bosch-branded scales are yet another shade of blue. I’ve never compared them.
From left to right: Light blue, “Regular” blue (Cobalt blue?), “Sparkly” blue, Festool Midnight blue.
